International Gaming Awards have been announced for 2012

Online gambling operators are getting closer and closer to the International Gaming Awards event, which will expose the best operator of the year.

Not much time is left until the International Gaming Awards on the 23rd of January 2012 which is probably one of the greatest events in the online gaming industry. Like in any other popular events, winners are nominated and then they receive a prize for their contribution to the industry. The event is to take place in London, at the Sheraton Park Hotel.

The nominations for this event will be made by October 18 before a review will be made by expert judges in the domain. The International Gaming Awards is getting more and more important for the global online gambling industry, this being the fifth year since its existence. Best poker rooms, best bingo sites, best online casinos, creativity awards and software suppliers are all part of the nominees list.

This year a new category is introduced in the international Gaming Awards structure and that is the best mobile operator. Due to the continuous and rapid development of mobile gaming industry, lots of operators provide a mobile platform for their players. This comes to prove the importance of mobile gaming industry.

The biggest award of the evening will probably be the award for the best online operator of the year. This award imposes many important aspects that the judges will have to take into considerations, such as creative branding, growth, the number and the type of games released, payment processing capabilities and marketing scheme.

The night of January 23rd will also hold charitable events. As usual, a charity is selected for the event. In 2012, the charities selected for the event are Care International and Children with Leukemia.
