With a Keno Top-Bottom ticket, you bet that a certain amount of spots will be called on either half of the Top-Bottom ticket.

To win, you have to match 13 numbers or more in the top half or the bottom half of the Keno ticket. Beyond 13 numbers, the more numbers you match the higher the payout, which ordinarily can reach as much as $100,000.

Certain forms of Top-Bottom games provide a payoff if the player catches fewer than 8 numbers on his Keno ticket.

Usually a Top-Bottom ticket costs $5. You do not have to encircle or put a line through any numbers on this Keno ticket, but rather, write T on the top section of the Top-Bottom ticket and B on the bottom section of it.

In addition, with the Keno operator's announcement of only 20 numbers, it can be hard to receive a usual distribution among the top 40 numbers, as well as the bottom 40 numbers on a Top-Bottom ticket.
