Opening of G Casino Sandcastle in Blackpool

On June 28, 2007, celebrities Lisa Snowden and Lee Evans attended the grand opening of the 3.5 million pound Lancashire Casino. The G Casino Sandcastle located in Blackpool features the largest poker room in the country, accommodating 250 customers as well as 15 tables for casino gambling games, 26 g and 46 a.

Dawn Higgins, General manager of the G Casino, commented that they are very happy and satisfied with the opening of the brand new G Casino Sandcastle and offer a new entertainment experience to the residents of Blackpool and the other visitors in the area.

Higgins said that they have created 6 brand new jobs which have already been filled and the whole casino team is looking forward to entertaining all of the visitors at the gambling casino.

The new G Casino facility is built within the 20,000 sq ft of gaming premises of the former Grosvenor Casino facility and has offered 6 additional new employment opportunities, bringing the total number of staff in the casino to 91 people.
