Planet Hollywood Casino Offers Slots Tournaments

On March 6th, 2008, the Planet Hollywood Casino is now featuring slots tournament everyday for their guests. The slots tournaments, which has a 5 minute duration, takes place every thirty minutes from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Old slot club members and brand new members are allowed to play in a single tournaments everyday. The players with the biggest points after a day's event can win up to $1,000.

Aside from that, the MGM Mirage Corporation still paid their employees who were jobless, while their Monte Carlo resort was close down for repairs after its rooftop was damage from a fire. The company just recently announced that they will also improve their hourly dealer rate from $6.33 to $7.75 per hour. This is also a part of the remodeling that became really important after MGM Mirage bought the Mirage Resorts back in 2000 and the Mandalay Resort Group back in 2005.

Since the salary and benefits packages are different from each casino property, the company had been working hard to centralize them. The hourly pay for the casino dealers is the last but not the least of the important changes. The company has 5,100 casino dealers on its employ. Despite the increase in hourly pay, the gambling public should always remember that this is not the standard living salary and casino dealers still greatly depend on the tips of players as well as casino facility waiters and waitresses.
